Someone once said "whether your rich or poor it is always nice to have money." I do not know who said it but it sure make a lot of sense to me. I say whether your rich or poor it sure is nice to have some Gold and Platinum.
At today's low prices both Gold and Platinum are even more affordable than it has been in some previous years. Prices shown for all Gold and Platinum coins do not include any special holders or packaging unless stated otherwise. All coins that do not come in a special holder are shipped in a protective vinyl flip. Because of the potential volatility in the Gold and Platinum Market all prices are subject to market changes.
All of the prices shown for Gold and Platinum coins was based on the Market conditions as well as the Spot Market prices for Gold and Platinum on the day that the updates were made. Those Spot Market prices along with the current Spot Market prices for Gold and Platinum will be posted on each of these pages. Should the Spot Market price change since our last update here is a simple two step formula you can use for approximating what Jake's current retail price might be based on the changes.
Step # 1: Simply take the selling price of the coin you are interested in and divide it by the spot market price for Gold or Platinum that we show on that page.
Step # 2: Now take the answer you get and multiply it by the current Spot Market price for Gold or Platinum.
The answer you get after completing Step # 2 should be a good ballpark price. This formula is most effective on the Bullion related Gold and Platinum coins where the premium for each coin is closely tied to the Spot Market prices of precious metals.
